Disaster Action Team Member – Every day, people are forced from their home due to disasters. Single- and multi-family fires account for 90% of disaster responses. Compassionate and committed Disaster Action Team volunteers respond day and night to meet the immediate needs of their neighbors.

• Provide support and assistance to individuals and families who have been impacted by a home fire.

• Support includes psychological first aid, a care kit with daily essentials like a toothbrush and deodorant, ensuring they you have a roof over your head for the next few days, money, help getting connected to other resources
